Question:
I have a 6 gallon Elephant Ear crock. It has a crack 4 inches long from the bottom upwards that goes thru to the inside. There is also a small chip at the bottom rim where the crack starts. The handles are chip free. It has the Union oval. Can you tell me the approximate value and production date. Thank you, Kim Starling.
Answer: Kim, your Minnesota Stoneware 6 gallon Elephant ear crock was produced between 1895 & 1906. With the crack and small chips the value will be between $150 & $200. Al Kohlman
