I picker I know bought a near mint 10 gal crock with handles and it has the round Red Wing Union Stoneware mark. Hoping you can help me with the value. He thinks its worth alot more because of the round mark. Thanks for your time. Craig
Answer: Craig, the round oval on the 10 gallon Red Wing crock is somewhat rare, but is found on the later stoneware pieces (1936 to 1947). On a 10 gallon, it will not raise the value by much. Maybe $25. In mint condition the value would be around $150. Al Kohlman
