I have a Redwing Stoneware Co. jug, with a 5 on the front. It is about a foot and a half tall and a foot diameter on the base. I have had this for a long time. Wondering what the pricing on it would be estimated at? If needed, I can send a picture. Thanks.

Answer: You have a Red Wing 5 gallon Shoulder Jug. These jugs are the latest jugs produced by Red Wing and when in production, they produced up to 10,000 gallons of ware per week. So quite a large number of these were produced. Your jug was manufactured between 1918 &1930 in is quite common.
