I have a white stoneware crock, 4 and 3 eighths in H by 6 in diam. 5 line adv in oval: J.B.Dakin, general merchandise, Shaller-Iowa, Johnson’s cider vinegar, a speciality. Hairline crack left of ad top to bottom only, 3 eighths in. chip under L in "speciality". "Red Wing Stoneware" impressed on bottom. Thank you Jim

Answer: Jim, I just am not sure as to what kind of Red Wing advertising crock you have. I want to say it is a signed butter crock, but again, I do not know with out seeing it. Is there anyway you could email the Red Wing web site a photo. With a photo I would have a much better idea of what you have and better be able to give you a fair evaluation of your piece. Al Kohlman
