what is this? 10 in bottom diameter..17 in tall..the number 3 and logo Red Wing Potteries Inc Red Wing Minn…perfect rubber ring inside..not the way the top is..perfect as far as I can tell brown and white..shiny glaze although I do not know what you call it..need value..I guess I can send only one picture but have plenty more. Answer: Jerry, your piece is a Red Wing Ball Locking Jar or referred as an apple sauce jar by us collectors. Because of the pottery oval, your piece was manufactured between 1936 & 1947. Without the red wing your Red Wing Ball Lock Jar has a value between $200 & $250 (in mint condition). Hope this helps. Al Kohlman
