Question:
Can you tell me what this spongeband pitcher is worth? It is 7 1/2 inches tall with the oval label on the bottom that says made in RED WING. The Advertisement says COMPLEMENTS OF SCANNELL MERC.CO. McGregor, MINN. 1934. There is a small spiderlike crack in the back but it doesn’t go all the way through to the inside of the pitcher. Thanks Sharon
Answer: Sharon, if your pitcher was mint, the value would be around $350. Even a spider crack that does not go through is still a crack with collectors. The value is around half $150 to $175. Al Kohlman
