Question:
I have had a piece of Red Wing Stoneware for at least 60 years, It is green in color. 2 handels, one on each side , it has a glazed inside, it looks like a water jug. , a flower design on the front, approximately 12inches tall narrow at the top and wide at the bottom( round shape). I am currious as to how old this might really be. A very old neighbor gave it to me when I was very small, It is in excellent condition, w/ a stamp on the bottom but no signatures or numbers.Does anyone know of the possible value of this piece? Thanks Jeannie

Answer: Sorry but I have no idea about this item. The description does not fit any piece of Red Wing dinnerware. The item might be from the stoneware or art pottery lines. It would help to have a detailed description of the stamp on the bottom as it would likely provide clues. A photo of the piece would also be very helpful. You can email a photo to Director@redwingcollectors.org
