Question:
I am wanting to know about these plates. The first pictures are stamped red wing hand paintined with a # 3 in the wing. fist plate is 11" & the second plate is 9 1/2" and the the third is stamped Homer Jauchlin Genesee 105N and is a 10" plate. Jody
Answer: The plate in the photo is from the Plum Blossom pattern, the only pattern in the Dynasty shape. This pattern was available in two colors, yellow and pink, and was produced from 1950 to 1953. The pieces in this line all had six sides. Plates and bowls were white with floral artwork while larger pieces such as pitchers, casseroles, and teapots were available in three solid colors: Citron Yellow, Woodland Green or Mica Bronze. Plates were made in four sizes: 6.5", 7.5", 9.5" and 10.5". Plum Blossom plates are worth $10-20 if they are in excellent condition.
The third piece mentioned in your inquiry was not made by Red Wing and I have no information about it.
