Question:
I have 5 redwing small maybe dessert plates. On the front they have a picture of a rose with a green leaf and maybe some shawdow leaves. The dish is squared with rounded edges. They all have a chip on them except for two. On the back they have the upright wing with RedWing Pottery then Hand Painted. The RedWing is in script.
Answer: A squarish Red Wing plate with a single red rose describes the Lexington pattern, one of many patterns in Concord shape. Lexington is common pattern and these plates are readily available. In excellent condition they are worth $5-10; with damage they are worth no more than half of that.
