Question:
Dear Larry;I recently inherited a twelve piece dinner set with the Red Wing 330 stamped on the bottom. There are several serving pieces and a large salad bowl, the graveyboat and other serving pieces have matching copper holders that can hold candles to keep food warm. When I was growing up we called it the chickadee pattern. Could you tell me the correct name? In the salad bowl there is a hen and two baby chicks. The color is biege with brown and turqouse outlining the birds. Thankyou for your help! Sincerely Donna Hassey

Answer: Donna, Bob White is the name of your pattern. It was Red Wing’s best selling and most popular dinnerware pattern, and it continues to be popular with collectors today. Bob White was introduced in 1954 and continued production until the pottery closed in 1967.
