Question:
Hello, I found two flower pots. One says "Red Wing USA" and then 445 8". The other says Red Wing and then some writting I can’t make out. Each one is robbin’s egg blue with black specs throughout. Very pretty. They also have a band of petals that point downward and the petals have a zig-zag pattern on them. Can you tell me anything about them? I found them both at a garage sale and got them for a $1.00 each. Thanks Ellen
Answer: Hi Ellen, these flower pots date from the 50′s. The glaze is Fleck Nile blue. The one you can’t make out is the same, just a different size, there were several sizes this pot came in. measure across the top to get the size. Values are about 20.00 or so, depending on the size. thanks, steve n rose
