Hello. I bought a platter/bowl at a resale shop simply because of it’s shape. It’s about 15" long, 6 1/2# wide and 1 1/4# in depth. Oval shaped with a curve-over on both sides at each side end, chocolate brown in color. It’s in good condition, no decorations on it at all. It’s glazed. The bottom reads RED WING U.S.A. 641. I’m not able to send a picture of it. Thank you for any information you can give. Lottie

Answer: Hi Lottie, your console bowl is from around 1959, a time of curvy, morphic shapes. It doesn’t belong to any particular line, but there are several other similar shapes. Value is about $20.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
