Question:
I recently aquired a ecru colored circular item. It is marked on the bottom, RED WING USA 448 inside a double rim. The piece is donut shaped…it could be a vase..it only stands 1 1/2" tall. Itis @ 8 1/2" in diameter. A friend says it looks like the base of a chicken waterer?? Any information and idea of value would be very helpful Thank you.
Answer: Your item is indeed a piece of art pottery. Circa 1956, we would call it a flower, or ring bowl. It’s value is around 20-25. thanks, steve n rose
