Question:
Can you indicate how old my pitcher is, and what it’s value may be? It’s stamped on the bottom "RedWing Pottery – Hand Painted." There are no cracks. Thank you, Pam

Answer: Your pitcher is from the Brittany dinnerware pattern. Brittany was produced from 1941 to 1950. In excellent condition (no chips, cracks, hairlines, flaws, stains) this pitcher is worth $40-50. This dinnerware line was prone to absorbing stains from the foods and liquids it held. If the pitcher is significantly stained the value would be reduced by 25 to 75%, depending on the extent of the stains.
